On June 6th, the 300,000-ton/year carbon five separation unit in Dayawan, Huizhou, which is the largest in China and the second largest in Asia, was successfully started up in one go. This project was carried out by Qingdao Eco-Strong Technology Engineering Co., LTD. for technology transfer and engineering design. Its successful start-up has filled the gap in the carbon five and carbon nine industrial chain in Dayawan Petrochemical Zone, which is of great significance for further improving and extending the petrochemical industrial chain. The process technology of this 300,000-ton/year carbon five separation unit adopts the acetonitrile separation technology independently developed by Qingdao Eco-Strong Technology Engineering Co., LTD. The product yield has reached the international advanced level. After a smooth start-up, all products have reached or even exceeded the design values, and the energy consumption is also better than the design values.

Qingdao Eco-Strong Technology Engineering Co., LTD. is a subsidiary of Qingdao Wanlong High-tech Group. Since its establishment in 2001, the company has obtained Class A professional engineering design qualifications for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries (chemical engineering), Class B professional engineering design qualifications for (storage and transportation of petroleum and chemical products, chemical raw materials), and engineering general contracting qualifications. Over the years, Qingdao Eco-Strong Technology Engineering Co., LTD. has continuously enhanced its R&D capabilities, gradually integrated with the market, and achieved enterprise operation. Its business scope covers multiple fields such as petrochemicals, chemicals, polymer materials, synthetic rubber, tires, and pesticides. The company attaches great importance to technological research and development as well as technology transformation. It promotes design upgrades through research and development. Many of its chemical technologies have independent intellectual property rights and have achieved industrialization of its own technologies.
The successful start-up and smooth commissioning of the 300,000-ton/year carbon five separation unit in Dayawan, Huizhou this time are of great significance for enhancing the competitiveness of China's carbon five separation technology and achieving resource utilization and energy conservation and emission reduction in the petrochemical industry.
