On September 6th, the 60th Anniversary Commemoration Conference of China's Synthetic Rubber Industrialization and the 23rd Industry Annual Conference of China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association were held in Beijing, organized by the China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association. Relevant leaders from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and the International Synthetic Rubber Producers Association, as well as representatives of member enterprises and industry experts, totaling over 220 people, attended the conference.

The conference systematically summarized the growth history and significant achievements of China's synthetic rubber industry over the past 60 years, from its infancy to its expansion. It also analyzed the new situations and challenges currently faced by the industry, and pointed out that the main task for the future industry is to achieve high-quality development.

In order to encourage independent innovation and promote coordinated development, the conference commended 28 research and development units that have made outstanding contributions to the industrialization of synthetic rubber in China. Qingdao Ikos Technology Engineering Co., Ltd., as one of the few private enterprises among the selected units, received the award for outstanding contribution to independent innovation. This award is a recognition of Ikos' enterprise strength and innovation capabilities, and also a motivation for its further development.
